The South Holland Business Awards are just a few months away and business leaders are keen to highlight the benefits for firms taking part.
There are seven categories that make up the awards, which will be held at the Springfields Event and Conference Centre on November 24.

Phil Scarlett, president of the Spalding and District Area Chamber of Commerce, said: “With businesses working to tight deadlines, driving sales, hitting targets and consistently providing excellent customer service, we think it’s important to recognise and reward those who go above and beyond to make each day a successful and enjoyable one.
“Winning an award can enhance your business’ team spirit, and provides you with a valuable opportunity to appraise, appreciate and relish in the success of your firm.
“Other reasons for entering include receiving free exposure, positive publicity, increased business visibility and free marketing by the Chamber, ultimately leading to higher profiling and greater business success.
“Winning may also enable you to attract new talent, get your own words and opinions out into the public to share with budding businesses and the chance to share your story to success to inspire future generations.
“Further to that, it enables you to be seen as a role model for other start-up business, instilling motivation and thus, driving competition and performance.”
Mr Scarlett added: “All in all, the awards ceremony marks an evening to celebrate what you wake up for and do every day, and equally, provides a chance to showcase the talents of your business and what you believe in.
“Winning awards feels special and demonstrates the hard work and combined effort of all employees within an organisation”, said Phil Scarlett. “It may also have an effect on creating trust between you and your clients, proving that you are ‘the real deal’ and will go that extra mile to get the best results possible.
“The Business community in South Holland has plenty of passion to celebrate, and these awards embrace and champion all the work being carried out within the area.”
The awards are open to both members and non-members of the Chamber (entry criteria applies) and are free to enter.
