PINCHBECK-based roofing company KGM has won two national awards in an annual competition judged by its own industry.
KGM managing director Mick Papworth attended the Roofing Awards Ceremony in Birmingham where his firm’s success was announced.
The awards, in their seventh year, are the largest industry-wide competition to recognise outstanding standards of workmanship and safety, judged between September and January.
A selection of projects were shortlisted from a record number of entries, and KGM’s won on two out of 12 categories.
The firm took the Sustainable Roofs Solar Award for Arnold Lodge, Leicester and the Vertical Cladding Aard for Siemens at Lincoln.
Mick Papworth said: “We’re delighted to have won the awards in recognition of our work.
“As they are judged by our own industry, the competition is always high, so it’s particularly rewarding to win one, never mind two!”
