Builder Nick Moyses has been named Spalding’s best darting tradesman after builders merchant Gibbs and Dandy ran a three-week long competition in-store.

Gibbs and Dandy, of St Thomas’s Road, Spalding, saw more than 50 customers enter the nine-dart challenge, with Nick, from Aron Moyses Home, coming out on top with an impressive score of 245 to claim the title.

He also won a dart board signed by five time World Champion Eric Bristow, along with a set of darts and two tickets for a leading local PDC darts event.

Nick said: “I’m made up to be named Spalding’s best darting tradesman – there was lots of competition to see off and I wasn’t sure I’d pull it off. I’m really pleased with the great prizes but the best one is definitely money-can’t-buy – lifelong bragging rights down the pub!”

Store manager Matt Marsden said: “We thought the tournament would be a bit of fun for local tradesmen and it was great to see customers really get into it.”
