A NEW hair and beauty salon, Crown Affair, opened in Spalding on Tuesday in the Hall Place building formerly occupied by The Red Cross charity shop.

The 14 staff are led by salon owner Frank Martino, formerly a partner in Chambers Hair Design.

Crown Affair is the first in town to offer the acclaimed OXYjet facial treatments, a powerful alternative to facial injections, and is part of a national network of salons providing a confidential wig styling service for people suffering hair loss due to illness.

Mr Martino said: “We aim to be one of the town’s most progressive salons by providing the latest services and techniques within the industry, and all the staff at Crown Affair are extremely excited to be part of this new venture in this beautifully restored building in Spalding.”
