Colleagues at a Holbeach store are all smiles after helping their company get one step closer to claiming a much-coveted industry award.
The Original Factory Shop has heard it has been shortlisted for the 2013 Retail Week Awards’ Customer Service Initiative of the Year, with results to be announced in March 2013.
This category recognises an initiative launched by a retailer that delivers new standards in customer service. The Original Factory Shop’s ‘shop online...offline’ service wowed the judging panel by demonstrating the company’s understanding of its customers’ needs as well as its commitment to exceeding their expectations.
Store manager Vanessa Bell said: “Our shop online without the internet initiative offers customers who don’t have access to the internet or who don’t have a credit card the chance to enjoy the great deals available on our website by ordering in store and paying by cash if they want to. We haven’t won it yet, but we’re over the moon to have made it on to the shortlist.”
