DOORS have closed for the final time at a Spalding cut-price sweet and biscuit shop.

Wendy Stimson has taken the decision to shut The Yum Yum Sweet Co in the Sheep Market and opened for the final time last Saturday.

She blames the high costs associated with running the town centre premises for her decision, although she hopes to start a stall on Spalding market within a week or two selling the same products.

She said: “We have been here for 12 years and we have had a lot of support from the people of Spalding but regrettably the costs mean we have been forced to take the decision to close.

“Myself and my parents Marion and Eddy would like to thank everyone for their support. We will miss everyone and we are very sorry to be going.”
