A manufacturer of prepared foods in Spalding has just taken on 22 recruits for its fast track management initiative.

Bakkavor, based in West Marsh Road, has signed up the group to its two year accelerated management scheme, which has been created to find the next generation of innovators and leaders of the business.

The scheme was established 16 years ago, and so far 240 plus young people have completed it.

Pippa Greenslade, group HR director, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming the new recruits to Bakkavor on the Accelerated Management Scheme which offers individuals a range of opportunities within a fast moving yet supportive environment.

“Bakkavor takes their commitment to investing in their people very seriously.

The scheme involves a mix of on and off the job training and includes development, finance, human resources, manufacturing, technical, commercial, marketing and international.
