Pinchbeck car dealership Rylatt and Sons scored a maximum break when ex-world snooker champion Dennis Taylor came to the official opening of their new showroom.

Taylor, winner of a dramatic final frame, final black ball match in 1985, showed he had lost none of the skills that make him one of the most popular characters on the snooker circuit during a trickshot exhibition at the new showroom in Elsoms Way.

Other guests invited by father and son directors, John and James Rylatt, included South Holland District Council chairman Robert Clark and Mayor of Boston Coun Paul Kenny.

James Rylatt said: “We had a bustling showroom on the day but everyone seemed to enjoy themselves tremendously.

“Dennis gave us a memorable performance of trickshots and then invited anyone who wanted to play him to have a good game of snooker.”

The new showroom is purpose-built to display and sell Citreon models, separate to its existing Ford dealership, also in Elsoms Way.

James said: “We are extremely proud of the latest addition to the family and now we have two showrooms, along with two busy workshops and parts departments.

Rylatt and Sons is looking to recruit a sales executive for one of its showrooms and for more information, call general sales manager Paul Morfitt on 01775 302030 or email paul.morfitt@rylattgroup.com
