Holbeach Bank Football Club is hoping ex-players and the wider community can help improve its fortunes off the field.
The club needs a new or refurbished sports pavilion as the current one, built in the 1950s, has been broken into within the last three years.
Plans for a refurbished pavilion, including three changing rooms, toilets and kitchen, have been drawn up but the work could cost the club at least £90,000.
Committee member Dave Dickinson said: “We’re trying to chase up grants which could give us £20,000 to £25,000.
“But to replace the pavilion, we’re looking at a cost of at least £90,000 and, realistically, we’re never going to get that.
“So if there are any former players who are builders, we’d gladly accept any offer of help to make the pavilion look respectable again.”
Anyone who can help should call Dave on 01406 420403.
