Lincolnshire can look forward to a cash injection of £18,500 investment to promote apprenticeships in the county.

The money is coming from the Skills Funding Agency to raise awareness of the benefits to young people from joining an apprentice programme.

Coun Patricia Bradwell, Lincolnshire County Council executive member for children’s services, said: “Over the last few years, the number of apprentices in Lincolnshire has doubled which is good news for both employers and talented young people alike.”

“This extra money will help us even further.”
