A one-stop shop for jewellery, scarves and other gifts is creating interest in Sutton Bridge after its first week of business.
Eztak Gifts and Jewellery on Bridge Road is named after owner Naomi Katze (her surname spelt backwards) who grabbed an opportunity to provide Sutton Bridge and Long Sutton residents with gift ideas, without the need of travelling to Spalding or further afield.
Naomi (41) said: “I’ve been selling jewellery and scarves online for about two years and many of my customers were nagging me to open a shop here.
“When one became available in Sutton Bridge, I thought I’ll never know whether my customers are right unless I try and it’s been a nice, steady start so far.
“Everybody who has walked into the shop has been very complimentary about how it’s set out and they like having something different in the village.
“There’s nothing like it in Sutton Bridge or Long Sutton, with a range of jewellery to suit everyone, along with home-made greetings cards, sweets, biscuits and incense burners.”
Naomi used to work in sales and marketing for the food industry before becoming a chef until she took the decision to “hang up my whites” three years ago.
“I started to look for something else to do and now I just want to take the gift shop forward on a day-to-day basis.”
