Peacocks’ Spalding store saved

TEN jobs have been saved after Peacocks’ store in Market Place, Spalding, was one of 388 bought by Edinburgh Woollen Mill.

More than 220 stores will close.

Not a shop that I use BUT i am pleased that it has been saved for the sake of the staff and the town - we dont need anymore empty shops on the High Streets.

This is great news for the staff employed there and 1 less shop to stand empty in our town.
