Nursery wins food and farming contest
A nursery school in Sutterton has won an award in the Year of Food and Farming contest.
Bramble Hall Day Nursery was named the Best Nursery School in the contest, sponsored by Lincolnshire Co-operative and run by Lincolnshire Healthy Schools.
The Co-op gave schools across the county 100 to spend on a growing kit to grow on site and asked pupils to keep a growing diary to catalogue their progress.
The nursery school has now been given another 100, this time in prize money, to be spent on whatever they wish, and parents are being asked what they want to see it spent on.
Health childcare co-ordinator Katie Upsall said: "We were very pleased to have done so well in the competition."
