South Holland residents have the opportunity to get involved in building a brand new town in Spalding on Saturday.
In fact it’s a model town being built in Ayscoughfee Hall Museum’s Undercroft where visitors will be able to watch progress.
Using special air-dry clay, modellers will be able to recreate in miniature their own house, a local building or anything else likely to be found in a town.
Ayscoughfee Clay Town will grow over three art workshops – Saturday, then Thursday, October 24 and Sunday, November 3 (all 11am to 3pm).
The project is being run in conjunction with Unique Cottage Studios, of Spalding.
Everyone is welcome to take part and there is no need to book. Just turn up on the day. The cost is £3 per person.
