GIRLS and boys just wanted to have fun at QV Foods’ day out in Holbeach Carter’s Park on Saturday.

The firm’s social club organisers Becky Webb and Shaun Brothwell were thrilled that families turned out in such numbers to have a good time.

So much so that Becky said: “It was a huge success, trebling what the first QV Family Fun Day last year made for charity. We’re already planning next year’s event.”

More than £1,250 poured in for the day’s two nominated charities, national Epilepsy Connections and Storm UK, the Holbeach Kickboxing Club.

The sun shone on children having a go at a range of fun activities while disco music played and everyone relaxed and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere.
