FRIDAY: A MAN from Wyberton is in hospital with a serious head injury after being hit by a milk float on the outskirts of Boston in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called to Spalding Road, near the level crossing, at about 2.45am.
The 22-year-old pedestrian was taken to Boston’s Pilgrim Hospital and then transferred to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, when it was discovered he was more seriously injured than was first thought.
Spalding Road reopened shortly after 7am.
