A man has been airlifted to hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack in Sutton Bridge earlier today.
Paramedics, firefighters and a team from the charity Magpas (Mid-Anglia General Practitioner Accident Service) were called out at 1.30pm today with arequest to fly the man to Lincoln County Hospital.
A Magpas Air Ambulance spokesman said: “Magpas Doctor Tom Odbert and Paramedic Chris Hawkins landed in the Sutton Bridge area where an EMAS (East Midlands Ambulance Service paramedic crew had requested urgent help from an air ambulance.
“The man who had suffered a heart attack needed to get to hospital as quickly as possible for further treatment.
“On arrival at the hospital, the man was in a stable condition.”
Meanwhile, there are reports of heavy traffic on A17 and A151 in Fleet Hargate because of a broken down vehicle which is being recovered.
The congestion is mainly affecting the A17 at its junction with Fleet Road, but there are also delays on the A151 between Holbeach and Moulton.
