CLASSIC cars and motorbikes ranging from 1903 up to 1992 were brought out to be admired at the Wellhead Field in Bourne on Sunday.

They were on display at the seventh Classic Car and Bike Show, a free event organised by Bourne Motor Racing Club, and made possible with the support of local businesses.

Club member Richard Bostock said: “It went well. We had a great turnout of spectators and cars and bikes. It really was a good day and the weather was superb.”

In addition to the classic vehicles, there was a jazz band as well as craft stalls and refreshments, and a Battle of Britain memorial flight went over at the end of the day.

Richard said: “Bourne Motor Racing Club has been going for 17 years and we do this to give something back to the people of Bourne.”
