RESIDENTS at The Cedars care home in Bourne have been getting into the Easter spirit this weekend with a host of activities.

They kicked off the fun by making a selection of Easter bonnets in their craft session, which were all proudly on display in the home on Good Friday.

The same morning, staff had been busy cooking up a storm in the kitchen to supply a selection of cakes for a coffee morning.

The staff also arranged a raffle, with all proceeds from both events going directly towards the residents’ own fund.

Finally, the home also welcomed nine new arrivals last week, with chicks hatching on the site.

Incubators are taken into the home annually as an extra treat for residents.
