NEW buildings at a Spalding primary school have been given a blessing by the Bishop of Nottingham.

The Rt Rev Bishop Malcolm McMahon joined pupils at St Norbert’s Primary School on the Feast Day of St Norbert.

Former headteachers, staff members, governors, parents and friends also joined in the celebrations and toured the new facilities.

A service included singing from the children and Class Six prepared a presentation on what makes St Norbert’s School special using the letters from St Norbert.

Since the visit the Bishop has written to the school thanking them for their warm welcome.
