BOOSTED by an anonymous £2,000 donation and a donation from Bakkavor’s charitable fund, the Spalding Rotary Club Two Lips fundraising campaign reach its target of £10,000.

Events during the week of May 14 to 21 included the Spalding Guardian quiz night, a car boot sale, cake stalls, balloon race and many more successful events.

The Rotary Club’s own charities, along with the guides and scouts who meet at Moose Hall in Spalding, PHAB, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and the Johnson Hospital League of Friends, all benefited from an equal share of the £10,000 raised.

Press officer Peter Atkinson said: “We would like to build on this year’s efforts and success for next year.”
