EVERY one of the 96 pupils at St Bartholomew’s Primary School, West Pinchbeck, has been given a new copy of The Bible.

The gift came from Bibles for Children and Pinchbeck Parish Council.

Senior teacher Jacqueline Hutchinson said the books will remain with each child throughout school and they can take them home at the end of Year 6.

She said: “As a church school, The Bible is obviously an enormous source of ideas and inspiration for us and it is wonderful, at this season of giving, that our children have been given such a wonderful gift.”
