Families who have babies or children buried at Spalding Cemetery will be able to sit awhile thanks to the donation of a bench.

Staff at factory one at Bakkavor’s West Marsh Road site, Spalding, raised about £300 through cake sales and a variety of
activities after being approached by the mum of stillborn baby Hope Kelman.

Rachel Kelman (pictured left) and Hope’s grandfather Andrew Green (third from left) received the bench from staff of the Factory One Site Employees’ Forum Kelly Church, Steve Scholes, Jenny Hewitt and Sue Sells and it has now been placed at the cemetery in Pinchbeck Road in memory of Hope.
