A Holbeach estate agency has given a teenager a taste of the world of work with help from the Prince’s Trust.

Ben Heffernan (18) of Sutton St James completed a two-week work experience placement with C. Carters Estate Agents and A1 Property Rentals.

During the placement, Ben gained an understanding of the industry and impressed the firm so much that he could be offered an apprenticeship with them in the future.

Tracey Carter from the estate agents said: “We really enjoyed having Ben with us and the experience has been very positive.

“Ben was able to join in with many tasks and his personality shone through hugely.

“As a company, we have always supported apprenticeships but this was our first experience of the Prince’s Trust scheme and I would encourage other companies to take part.

“It offers young people a great opportunity and you may well find a great new employee.”
