A film crew from BBC 1’s Countryfile was in Spalding today (Friday) to interview people in the street for its European Union (EU) referendum coverage.

Programmes to be aired on Sunday evenings at the end of May and beginning of June will focus on a variety of rural issues touching the question of whether Britain should remain a member of the EU or leave.

Topics to be covered in the television programmes will include migration, fisheries, farming and trade.

Countryfile was filming in Hall Place and Winsover Road, but is gathering material from the length and breadth of the country.
