BBC Radio Lincolnshire took to the road last week to broadcast from various locations in the area as part of a special One Week in Lincolnshire feature.

The station’s leading presenters, including Peter Levy, ditched the studio to broadcast from both the South Holland Centre and Red Lion Quarter in Spalding, Long Sutton’s Butterfly Park and Co-op, Deeping Leisure Centre and Bourne Leisure Centre.

BBC Radio Lincolnshire news and sport editor, Michael Hortin, said: “2012 is a big year for the country, with the Queen’s Jubilee and the Olympics, so we decided to get out and about to reflect life across the county.”

Last week’s event saw 36 programmes being broadcast from across the county, equating to almost 90 hours of radio.
