More than 100 people kept the memory alive of airmen who served their country during World War II at a special service in Sutton Bridge on Sunday.

South Holland and The Deepings MP John Hayes was among the guests at St Matthew’s Church for the annual Battle of Britain service led this year by the new Priest of Sutton Bridge, Rev David Oxtoby.
The service, organised by Douglas Marsh of Long Sutton and Sutton Bridge RAF Association, included a memorial flypast by Hurricane and Spitfire aircraft. Photo (TIM WILSON): SG150913-115TW.
