Three charities have been given a warm glow after receiving a share of the proceeds from a fire and ice themed ball.
The Midsummer Ball provided an evening of entertainment for more than 500 guests and raised a total of £21,047.
On the night, guests enjoyed fire dancers, prize auctions and live music.
Members of the ball’s organising committee handed cheques for £9,471.48 to the local branches of Action
Medical Research and Macmillan Cancer Suppor.
A further cheque made outfor £2,104.77 was handed to the children’s bereavement fund at United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust, which helps and supports young people and their families affected by illness and bereavement.
