Spalding’s major employer welcomed around 3,000 employees and their families to the Saturday daytime attractions, Tuby’s Funfair and an It’s a Knockout competition, and 1,200 visitors to its Saturday night Party in the Park spectacular.

Among those on stage were live bands Abba Gold and Radius 45 as well as solo singer Dennis Hannant and compere Ali Jay.

The night-time event was rounded off with a fireworks display at around 11pm.

On Sunday Bakkavor joined forces with the Rotary Club of Spalding and Welland for a car boot sale – and the fairground proved popular with the families attending.
