Baked treats at Spalding vets raise cash for wildlife

Home-cooked treats are going down a storm at Spalding’s Riverside Vets this week as staff raise cash for three wildlife good causes.

Regulars who take pets to Riverside, in Cradge Bank, boosted the fare with fabulous crumbles and pots of chutney and jam – and there were special liver-based doggy cakes for some of their four-legged friends made by head nurse, Chelsea Ingamells, who is pictured (left), watching her French bulldog, Polly, on the table.

Also pictured are Karon Rayner, Tilly Rayner, Nicole Flatters, Kally Hayward and Lesley Griffin.

• Good causes being supported are the Weirfield Wildlife Hospital at Lincoln, Secret World Wildlife Rescue in Somerset and the World Society for the Protection of Animals.

Fundraising will continue for the rest of this week.
