Thursday evening saw Priory School students party the night away at their leavers prom as around 90 guests, including students from the Garth School, gathered to wish the members of Year 11 a fond farewell.
The evening began in style as students arrived on motorcycles, in a camper van and even as passengers in a Rolls Royce.
Guests then displayed their finery as they posed for pictures outside the school, dazzling onlookers with their smart attire.
Next on the agenda was a special performance by members of staff in the school’s band, as well as a disco that gave students the opportunity to show off their best dance moves.
Rebecca Michie, a teaching assistant at the Priory School, said: “Everyone had a wonderful time and it was a great send-off for the students.”
The prom was part of a week of events celebrating the students’ time at the school, including visits to Drayton Manor, the Freiston Centre in Boston and Tallington Lakes for canoeing and tobogganing.
This was topped off by a leavers assembly on the Year 11’s last day, the school’s final opportunity to say goodbye to its students.
Rebecca added: “We will miss all of the young people who are leaving us and we wish them all the best for the future.”
