SUMMER fun badminton sessions in Spalding have been bursting with youngsters who were playing long after it was all over for British Olympic hopefuls.
Children attending Castle Sports Complex have been spending the holidays learning the skills that could make them champions of the future.
Sessions held on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays have attracted about 20 seven to 16-year-olds.
Coach Billy Chen said: “The sessions have been very popular. Children have been learning skills, playing games and having fun.”
Sessions ended this week but the Badminton Kids’ Club is held at the sports complex on Thursdays from 5.30pm to 7.30pm.
New members are welcome.
