YEARS 5 and 6 pupils at Bicker Prepatory School dressed up as early Britons to try to recreate life in the Stone Age.

Youngsters dressed as cavemen and women, made models and painted scenes of Stonehenge and devised a play about cavemen based on a short story by H G Wells.

Parents were invited in to watch the play. Parents of Year 4 pupils were also in school to see children perform Egyptian music and dance. Youngsters donned Egyptian dress and learned how to write and count in Arabic.

Every child made a bookmark with their name printed in Arabic.
