MORE than 30 apprentices celebrated at an awards night organised by Spalding company Steadfast Training at the town’s South Holland Centre.

Apprentices, parents and employers were joined by guests including South Holland District Council deputy leader Coun Paul Przyszlak and national apprenticeship service representatives Phil Selwood and Jonathan Poxon.

Steadfast Training managing director Jason Parnell said: “Steadfast Training is proud of these young people’s achievements - their hard work and dedication to their course and to their employers should be recognised by all as it sets an example to other young people.”

He said apprenticeships give young people the chance to flourish and employers can develop a valuable team member as well as have the opportunity to apply for up to £2,000 grant funding.
