THE WOMAN behind a successful campaign to save bus services for people in Moulton has picked up a “Shining Stars” award for her efforts.
Stephanie Liquorish led villagers to lobby Norfolk Green against plans to cut buses visiting Moulton, helping to secure six services a day.
That work prompted CSA’s Lorna Brown to put her forward for a Longhurst and Havelok Homes award – and she got a certificate and £25 high street vouchers, which she used to pay for a new duvet.
Mrs Liquorish said: “I had to read it twice – I couldn’t believe it. I was so delighted to think that somebody thought of me and nominated me.”
