Spalding Arts and Crafts Society’s Annual Exhibition of paintings by members is currently being held.

It’s at Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding until January 30 (10.30am to 4pm, museum closed Monday and Tuesday).

The paintings are in every style, from representational to abstract, including some encaustic work, or hot wax painting.

Exhibition secretary Clare Ratcliffe said: “Most of the work is for sale; all are worth a look.”

The society holds monthly meetings at Pinchbeck Village Hall when well-known artists give demonstrations. There is also time for a hot drink and a chat.

Entry to these is £4.50 for non-members and all visitors and new members are very welcome.

Entry to the Annual Exhibition is free.
