The annual Bugling of the Lincolnshire Sausage in Lutton was another great success this year.
The Jolly Crispin pub once again hosted the event, where a sausage on a silver platter is paraded through the pub while locals sing the Lincolnshire Poacher.
While it is landlord and landlady Rob and Sally Stutely-Brown’s first sausage bugling, the ceremony has been held for around 18 years, parodying the Burns Night traditions.
Sally said the event was a success, with around 80 people attending, both young and old, and fundraising from their tickets going towards the local village hall. (SG120316-161TW)
