COMMUNITY groups in South Holland are to benefit from almost £3,000 in grants from the Lincolnshire Co-operative.

Crowland Town Kurling Group, Moulton Seas End Village Hall and Spalding Parish Church of England Day School are among those getting a slice of the Community Dividend scheme.

A donation of £400 is being handed to Crowland Town Kurling Group to buy equipment, while £500 will go to Spalding Parish Church of England Day School towards the costs of an outdoor area.

Sutterton Village Hall will receive £500 towards refurbishing the toilets and refreshment area, and disabled toilet facilities will soon be installed at Donington and Quadring Royal British Legion Club with a £500 grant.

Tydd St Mary Primary School will receive £400 for fencing and £500 will go to Moulton Seas End Village Hall for roofing work.

Membership and community manager Sam Turner said: “We’re delighted to be able to support such a range of projects through the Community Dividend scheme.”
