Junior members of Sutton Bridge Youth Club will get an extra half-hour of fun with their Thursday night sessions at the Curlew Centre running from 6pm to 7.45pm.

The youth club management committee is extending the opening times because the juniors have been a great success.

The committee is also switching the senior group from Thursdays to Tuesdays, starting on May 5, in a bid to attract more members.

Committee secretary Chris Brandon-King said: “The junior group has expanded beyond our expectations, and it is pleasing to know that we have about 25 names on roll.”

Senior group numbers have fallen so the club will have a “Night Zone at the Curlew”, a chill-out evening with coffee, soup and possibly eats in The Farmers’ Room, with Wii and X-box available, and one Tuesday a month in the sports hall for more energetic activities.
