Organisers of an event celebrating the heydays of British motor racing success have handed over £50,000 to two charities.
Bourne BRM (British Racing Motors) Day Committee presented a cheque to Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance of some of the funds raised at last October’s event which drew more than 25,000 people into the town.
Committee chairman Rick Hall said: “We have so far been able to donate a total of £50,000 to the Air Ambulance and Bourne Outdoor Swimming Pool.”
