The Spalding Committee of the children’s charity Action Medical Research is holding its twelfth annual Christmas Gift Fair at Springfields Events Centre on Monday (2-9pm) and Tuesday (9am-4pm).

This year’s fair has more choice than ever before, with around 60 stalls.

The committee is organising a drinks reception on the Monday evening, complete with canapés and fizz. For Tuesday visitors, there are other treats in store. Over lunch there is a show featuring fashion from the stalls and later on there is a full afternoon tea. Tickets for the drinks party and afternoon tea must be booked in advance at facebook.com/SpaldingAMRChristmasGiftFair

Money raised will go to Action Medical Research, which is currently funding work around stillbirth, epilepsy, meningitis, cerebral palsy and brain cancer, as well as some rare and distressing conditions that severely affect children.

Entry is £2, under 14s free.
