Act II Theatre Company’s Advanced Skills group is taking on the challenge of putting on two shows in Spalding on alternate nights with the same cast.
Director Karl Gernert says it’s the latest challenge in their goal to create “exciting and innovative theatre” in South Holland.
The first play, Hamlet, considered by many to be Shakespeare’s masterpiece, is set in a Victorian mental asylum.
The second is Tom Stoppard’s tragicomedy Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, which kicks off the double bill at Ayscoughfee Hall Museum on Wednesday, February 25 (7pm). The plays show alternate nights on the following Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets are £8.50/£7 or £15/£12 for both shows on 01775 764555.
