Three injured in A1073 crashes

A motorcyclist and pillion rider were injured in a crash on the A1073 on Sunday.
Their blue Triumph motorcycle was involved in an accident with a silver Peugeot 406, a grey Ford Mondeo and a Silver Passat at around 4pm on at Barrier Bank, Cowbit.

The car drivers were not believed to have been injured but the rider of the Triumph had arm and leg injuries.

His 28-year-old female passenger was also injured. Both are from the Boston area.

They were both taken to the Pilgrim Hospital, Boston, where their injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

  • Police are appealing for witnesses to contact the collision witness hotline on 01522 558855.

  • A 22-year-old Peterborough woman was injured after her black Honda motorbike crashed on the A1073 at Peak Hill at around 8am on Thursday.

    She was taken to Peterborough District Hospital and is believed to have suffered only minor injuries.
