Straightening the church spire or replacing it with a flat roof is just one of the ideas to be discussed at Surfleet's parish plan meeting.
The session is being held at the village hall on Sunday from 10.30am to 3.30pm.
The idea is to create a parish plan giving people the chance to say what they want for the village.
It will addresses issues and concerns that are important to the community, including crime and safety, employment and skills, environment, access to services, facilities and amenities, health, housing and traffic and transport.
A parish plan steering group has been formed and members are now looking for some input from villagers.
Dave Bright, who is on the steering group, said: "We have had a proposal to straighten the spire on Surfleet church or possibly replace it with a flat roof.
"This and other matters will be discussed at the parish plan meeting and we would love to hear people's comments."
The steering group has received a £2,300 grant from Community Lincs and so far has approached more than 30 businesses and organisations to get involved.
The group consists of chairman Mary Hurst, Fran Healand, Marie Wren, Julia McGregor, Judy Chapman, Annette Rhodes, Karen Wilson and Dave Bright.
Dave added: "We are hoping to get started on the plan following the meeting on May 18.
"The most important part of the whole operation is the involvement of Surfleet residents, young and old, and we sincerely hope that Surfleet people will give their time to this plan."
