Rail passengers faced delays travelling from Peterborough to Spalding this morning following signalling and track faults.
Network Rail confirmed the section of the line where yesterdays tragic crash occurred has now been re-opened.

However signalling faults north of Peterborough caused the first train this morning to be cancelled.

A further problem with the track at Peterborough caused delays to the next service.

Journey times were estimated to be delayed by 40 minutes as a result.
