The Ship Inn at Surfleet Seas End made the jump from 2007 runner-up to 2008 winner.
Proprietors Mike and Clare Reynolds employ a team of 12 which prides itself on addressing the individual needs of customers and promoting a friendly atmosphere.
The pub – which also won the Business Start-up Award last year – has consistently featured in the invitation-only Michelin Red Guide.
It is popular with both local people and the visiting corporate community who use it as a base when on business trips.
Mr Reynolds said: "This award is all due to having a great team and working well together.
"There's nothing they can't do and nothing is too much of a problem.
"They have been with us for four years so they are obviously happy.
"We like to think our service is strong at the front and back of the house.
"We have got in the Michelin guide book, one of five in Lincolnshire, and hopefully we will get the star but if not we know we do a good job anyway."
