The carnival spirit came to Moulton Chapel on Sunday as the village enjoyed its best flower parade yet.
With more people attending the Spalding Flower Parade the previous day, bumper numbers crowded Moulton Chapel's streets to get a glimpse of the procession as it made its way along Roman Road.
Tulip covered floats, musical trailers, marching bands and walkers were joined by vintage cars and tractors, while stalls and a puppet show entertained those waiting for the parade.
Parade committee chairman Eddy Poll said: "Every year you think that it is the best flower parade but I do think this was definitely the best one.
"It was a really good parade and there were a lot of people out on the streets. We had a lot of help from new people this year as well as the regulars and anyone who wants to get involved next year should let us know."
The distinctive sound of bagpipes led the parade, courtesy of Northampton Pipe Band, followed by classic vehicles and a Snow White-themed float, complete with Seven Dwarfs.
The Harmony Majorettes wowed the crowds with their expert baton-twirling, while Moulton Chapel Primary School went with a tribute to this year's Beijing Olympics and a Chinese dragon snaking its way down the road.
Spalding group the Sound Injectors brought up the rear of the parade, getting the crowds moving.
Moulton Chapel Tulip Time Float carried Queen Modesta Genuleviciute, Prince and Princess Jack Sadler and Bethany Baker, along with Spalding Guardian runner-up Prince and Princess Ross Harwood and Chloe White.
