Have your say

There’s £4,000 up for grabs by keen amateur wildlife photographers.

Anglia Co-operative is looking to create a stunning a 2014 regional wildlife calendar – and it is looking to amateur photographers from all over the area for help.

There’s £1,000 for the image chosen by independent judges as the calendar’s cover shot, a £500 runner-up prize and ten other prizes of £250 for the rest of the images selected for the calendar.

The judges are looking for images of animals, birds, insects or plants taken in East Anglia. They must be landscape in shape and feature wildlife native to East Anglia.

All profits from the sale of the calendar will be shared between wildlife watch groups in East Anglia, wildlife education for schoolchildren at College Farm, Aldeby, Paxton Pits Nature Reserve at Little Paxton and Peterborough and District Beekeepers Association.

The 2013 calendar raised over £15,000 for wildlife causes.

Entries for the 2014 calendar competition can be uploaded by visiting www.angliacooperative.co.uk and clicking on the special calendar competition link.

Entries will be accepted from today (Thursday) until midnight on Sunday, September 8.
