On Saturday, November 8 at Springfields Events Centre in Spalding a Vintage Hollywood-themed ball will be held for charity.

The ball will be the fifth organised by committee members Hannah Robinson, Natalie Herring and Richard Spurr, who raise money for Kidney Research UK.

This year’s event will include live music from Crazy Ape, a raffle, auction and a four-course dinner.

The trio raise vital funds for the charity which undertakes research for kidney patients, like Hannah and Natalie’s mother Pauline.

Last year’s Caribbean Calypso Ball raised £10,000 and the members hope they can raise that again.

The members said: “This year’s event is going to be our biggest and best yet, we are really excited about it, especially with it being our fifth year.

“Over the last four years we have raised in excess of £25,000 for Kidney Research UK.

“We are really thankful to all those that have helped us and continue to do so. Without the support of local and national businesses these events would simply not be possible.”

The last batch of tickets has now been released priced at £45 per person.
