Every year artists and crafts-makers across Lincolnshire put their studios ‘on the map’ and invite residents and tourists in.

It’s a chance see how it is done and celebrate their work up close with a real sense of the personality behind each piece.

Art on the Map, the organisation behind Open Studios, formed in 1999 and has grown every year. Today the county is split into five clusters with artists in South Holland featuring in ‘the Fens’ category.

Just one of The Fens artists is Louise Stebbing, of Skylark Studio, Tydd Gote.

Louise’s studio is in a converted barn overlooking the Fenland landscape which inspires her linocuts. From dramatic skies to intense landscapes she usually starts with a sketch.

One of her linocuts has even been spotted hanging in the Summer Exhibition at the Royal academy.
